Passion for practice was created by nurse educators with over 20 years of
experience who are dedicated to supporting nurses by addressing and
finding solutions to the important issue of workplace stress and burnout.

WORKSHOP OF THE YEAR
Nursing is consistently ranked as the most respected profession in America.
Many patients often describe their nurses as compassionate and caring however
nurses often describe their jobs as stressful and struggle with feelings of burnout.
Studies show workplace stress and burnout is at an all-time high for nurses and healthcare
workers. Some surveys report that as many as 70% of nurses perceive their jobs as stressful.
Passion for Practice workshop tackles this troubling trend by exploring the causes
of workplace stressors and burnout. Along with providing tools for developing
preventative measures, successful coping strategies and interventions.
Participants will leave equipped with tools to bring back to their work place and
promote a positive work environment for a rich and rewarding work experience.
WHAT WE OFFER
This workshop is presented in an interactive format that is designed to be inspiring and insightful. And will feature nurses who will be sharing their stories of how they dealt with and overcame the challenges of job-related stress while still providing compassionate care.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Registered Nurses and LPN's from all specialty
areas and regardless of years in the profession.
This workshop has something for everyone.
Nursing students will also benefit because some
literature shows new graduates are at the greatest
risk. You will gain valuable insights and have an opportunity to meet and network with nurses
at various stages of their careers.
